In this episode we go on the road from Odessa in the early 20th century. We follow Osip Shor - a very real young man whose life stories were the inspiration for two novels that became famous worldwide. The literary character who emerged from Osip's footsteps is still loved today, almost 100 years after he was imagined. We would tell you who it is all about, but then what would be the point of guessing?
