History is about facts and events. The history of a place stands for its entire past. But history is also made up of many personal stories. Stories of memories, feelings, stories of grandparents or acquaintances that grow in our minds in sepia shades, and in our souls - with a scent of roses and the smell of dust.

Nostalgia is a picture of the soul. History, however, is the whole album - a library of documents, the turmoil of all lives caught in the melting pot of reality and the hands of those who set it in motion. Through scattered images, Palianytsia Podcast reconstructs the history of Chernivtsi today.
